Superb huge magnifying mirror, clean and tidy room, lovely view
Shower lacked ample pressure!!! Entry code confusion created inconvenience!!! Steep stairs without lift made accessibility tricky!!! Small parking area could pose issues during busy times!!!

Absolutely fantastic place for a getaway
The breakfast was top-notch, made from locally sourced produce and absolutely delicious! Sue even made a breakfast sandwich for me to take since I had to leave early, now that’s service you don’t forget, yeah.
It wasn't cheap though, more on the pricey side but worth every penny.

What a fantastic stay at Geordie Pride Lodge! My room offered stunning countryside views, making mornings beautiful. The bed felt incredibly comfortable. I almost didn't want to get out of it. I opted for the Yorkshire breakfast, and it was a highlight—cooked perfectly with locally sourced ingredients that made a difference. The owner, Sue, was super welcoming. She gave me a lovely tour and was always around for any questions or help. The room was spotlessly clean, with all the essentials like USB charging points near the bed, which I truly appreciated. the shower could have had more pressure. The room was a bit warm without air conditioning—manageable for a night's stay, but it could be uncomfortable in hotter weather.

Spotlessly clean double room with a lovely comfortable bed. Exceptional walk-in shower provided plenty of hot water.
The shower lacked a powerful spray, making it feel less effective. Figuring out the toilet flush took a couple of tries, and during the stay, the room got a bit too warm without air conditioning.

great service but not the most modern place
Sue's attention to detail truly made our experience special—she remembered our breakfast choices and even suggested local spots to explore. The countryside view from our room was really lovely, creating a pleasant atmosphere to wake up to every morning. The breakfast had a great variety, featuring fresh produce that was delicious and locally sourced, which made a noticeable difference.
The property felt a bit dated, lacking some modern amenities.

I traveled down for a wedding and was impressed by how tidy my room was. I loved the USB charging plugs right by the bed. The peaceful garden area and cozy lounge were perfect for relaxing between events. The room got a bit warm without AC, but it didn’t spoil my stay. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfy spot! 😊

The room was exceptionally tidy with convenient USB charging plugs. The shower could use more power, though. The local area offers access to various food options like The New Inn and Persepico's Pizza, making it easy to find dinner. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable stay.
